Subject: Study for the technical upgrade of the NATO VFL station of Tavolara in order to reduce the operation and maintenance costs, to increase the reliability and the performance of the station, and to extend its lifetime. The study defines the activities to perform and the technical solutions to implement for all the station components (antenna, power amplifiers, control panel, auxiliary systems, protection systems, etc.). An operation and maintenance costs analysis with the optimization proposals is also included.
